I was born in Lismore, on the Far North Coast of NSW which is where my love of photography started. I was given my first camera at a young age and loved nothing more than capturing moments on film. It wasn’t until 2003 when I ventured into the world of digital photography and purchased my first digital SLR. A whole new world opened up for me where I could take endless photos and not have to worry about using too much film. It was then I was able to refine my techniques through trial and error and find my passion for photography through photographing nature and landscapes. My husband, Aaron, and I purchased our first 4WD and found ourselves at places that not many people could venture to. I would often immerse myself in my surroundings and spend hours waiting to capture that unspoiled image where the light was just right or that moment in time was perfect.

It was then in 2008 Aaron and I moved to Melbourne where I started to focus more on Commercial and Wedding Photography working first as a Second Shooter for other Wedding Photographers when after a while I felt confident with my own skills I then ventured out on my own. It was such an honour of being the one to capture the emotion of the day, the key moments and memories that people will treasure for the rest of their lives.

In 2013 Aaron and I moved to Cairns and was amazed by the beauty that surrounds us. We spend most of our weekends driving in our 4WD to places that I could only dream of and find my happy place in the middle of Whoop Whoop.

I still do select commercial work so if you wish to talk to me about a project jump over to the contact page and send me a message.

My other loves are fishing, cooking, reading and hanging out with our 2 Golden Retrievers Bix and Bailey and taking them on adventures with us when we can.
